با توجه به عدم رعایت نکات امنیتی کارت‌های بانکی از سوی کاربران، کارشناسان با هشدار نسبت به مراقبت از کارت‌های بانکی تاکید دارند هیچگاه کارت بانکی خود را همراه با رمز عبور در اختیار کسی قرار ندهید، چرا که مجرمان سایبری می‌توانند با اطلاعات کارت بانکی شما اقدام به برداشت از حساب و یا پولشویی کنند. این امر ممکن است تبعاتی به همراه داشته باشد که به سادگی قابل جبران نباشد.
اپلیکیشن ارس با تولید رمز‌های یک‌بار مصرف گامی اساسی در جهت حفظ امنیت رمز‌های کارت‌های بانکی کاربران برداشته است. در این اپلیکیشن، رمزهای اول و دوم یک‌بار مصرف تولید می‌شود که زمان معتبر جهت استفاده از هر رمز تنها 30 یا 60 ثانیه می‌باشد. این رمز پس از اتمام زمان مورد نظر منقضی می‌شود و هر رمز تنها یکبار قابل استفاده است. با ابطال رمز قبلی، رمز جدیدی تولید شده و به کاربر نمایش داده می‌شود.
